ToggleHair Transplant
Male type hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia, is thinning of the hair or shedding completely. With hair transplantation treatment, it is possible to re-grow hair on the bald area. This process is the restoration of the roots taken from the nape of the patient, by opening canals to the areas where baldness is seen, or by transplanting them with different special techniques so that they do not fall out again. The reason why these roots do not shed again is that they are taken from the nape area, genetically protecting against shedding. Even in the most advanced male pattern hair loss, there is still hair between two ears. This is because this region consists of genetically non-shedding hair. It is recommended that hair transplantation be performed within the first three years of the loss of hair. In this way, it is predicted that the transplanted hair will be fed healthier and will grow, since nutritional disorder or deformation will not have started on the skin where the hair has been shed. The transplanted hair will not shed again, but since the already existing hair may continue to shed in the following years, regular checks should be made and a second session should be discussed for hair transplantation if necessary.
